After gaining a deep understanding of your wants and needs, we will tailor a concept specifically to fit your vision. From there, we’ll develop a comprehensive set of construction drawings that will bring your vision to life.

This is the first step towards turning your vision into reality. This agreement outlines the scope of the design and sets the stage for our creative collaboration. Our design and construction team works closely with you during this phase to finalize all the selection details, from plumbing fixtures to paint finishes. We guide you through each choice, ensuring that every element reflects your style and preferences and creates the overall cohesive home you envisioned. Having all selections complete before construction prevents any surprise cost from popping up during the build which leads to a more accurate budget

Clarity is paramount at Richardson Built. We provide you with an itemized specifications sheet, breaking down all selections for your home design. This detailed breakdown ensures you have a clear understanding of what is going into your new home.

To bring your custom home design to life, we offer a stunning 3D Renderings, providing a virtual tour of the exterior and interior of your future home. This immersive experience allows you to visualize the structure and aesthetics as if you were walking around your completed home. It’s the final step in Phase One, where your dream home is built virtually before construction begins.

Construct

Construction Agreement

Construction Agreement marks the official start of your custom home’s construction. This agreement details the construction materials, plans, and specifications to be released to your construction team for a seamless building experience.

To keep you informed and engaged throughout the construction process, we provide access to your personal online build portal. This portal offers real-time updates, construction schedule, progress photos, and a communication hub for all project-related inquiries. It’s a convenient way to stay connected and involved every step of the way.

As construction nears completion, we guide you on a comprehensive Walkthrough to review your new home. During this walkthrough, we ensure everything meets your expectations, address any final adjustments, and review the operation of the key components in your new home. It’s the moment where you see your dream home fully realized, ready for you to move in.

Where do you build?

We build custom homes throughout Metro Atlanta

The construction time from golden shovel in the ground to move in is usually between 7 – 12 months.

The average price of our homes is around $700,000, however we build homes that range between $600,000 and $3+million for the build costs excluding the cost of land.

The architectural design costs are generally $1.50 per square foot of living area. To get started, we collect a $2,500 deposit during Phase 1 of the design process. We believe interior designers play a key role in creating a smooth and enjoyable building experience, so their services are included as complimentary. If you need additional design services beyond the initial scope, they are available for purchase. During your Discovery Call, we will walk you through the design process and answer any questions you may have.

Yes, we should definitely talk about your home design conceptually. We can help give you a clear picture of what you need to search for in land in order to achieve the design and budget you are looking to target. We will also review potential lots with you so that we can give you accurate site costs and help you avoid any potential issues.
